Our Speakers

Katherine McVeigh B.L. is a practicing barrister with a general civil practice, specialising in employment and equality law. She appears regularly before the WRC, Labour Court and civil courts in employment law disputes. She frequently publishes and presents on employment law issues. Katherine is the Secretary of the Employment Bar Association (EBA) and committee member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland (ELAI).

Lorna Madden B.L. is a Barrister practicing on the Cork Circuit and specialises in employment law and data protection law. She has an Advanced Diploma in both Applied Employment Law and Data Protection Law from Kings Inns, has published articles in the Irish Employment Law Journal and is a member of the Employment Bar Association (EBA). She is also one of the organisers of the Cork Employment Law Webinar Series and teaches in Trinity College, where she obtained her degree.
