Recording | Landlord and Tenant Law Update

TWO HOURS OF GENERAL CPD AWARDED FOR THIS WEBINAR

Introduction

Landlord and tenant law has always been an important feature of legal practice in Ireland. This webinar focuses on practical issues surrounding commercial leases where the lessee claims an “equity” under Part II of the Landlord and Tenant (Amendment) Act, 1980. It examines recent case law on the right to a new tenancy and compensation for disturbance as well as whether a court will impose “green” covenants in the new lease. The webinar will also discuss the implications for property litigation of the recent guidance from the Court of Appeal on expert witnesses.
