Introduction

The Solicitors Guide to Professional Conduct (4th ed.) has a chapter dedicated to the solicitor and client relationship,  a chapter on conflicts of interest and a chapter on privilege and confidentiality. These are essential reading for all solicitors. The Legal Services Regulatory Authority also has guidelines and reports in relation to client complaints which are regulated under the Legal services Regulation At 2015. This webinar will go through the Solicitors Guide to Professional Conduct and offer a practitioner’s perspective on dealing with clients and in particular the narcissistic client!

Thomas Coughlan
Tom is a Director of the IICPD, Chairperson of IILA and Council Member of the Law Society of Ireland, where he sits on the Regulation of Practice Committee. Tom is a solicitor with 25 years of practice experience as both an employed solicitor and as a principal of his own Firm.
